Sydney Theatre Company

The Sydney Theatre Company was the first professional experience I had after graduating from NIDA in 2002. Rob Bookman was General Manager for the STC at the time. I feel grateful to have been supported by Rob and all the other professionals whom guided me and gave me the opportunities which allowed me to be where I am today.

"I have always been impressed with Jaime's work and professionalism. She is an actor of great imagination and flair and an excellent collaborator. She combines a natural intuition for truth on stage with a commitment to the hard work of research and detailing of her performance.

During her time at the STC Jaime expanded and extended her range through an unusual diversity of productions ranging across:
  • an innovative and strongly physical production of The Tempest for our Education and Blueprints (art-form development) programs
  • a sparkling performance in Stoppard's The Real Thing directed by Robyn Nevin (appearing opposite Hugo Weaving and Angie Milliken)
  • Moliere's classic comedy The Miser in an all-stops-out production by Jean-Pierre Mignon
  • the female lead in Matt Cameron's enigmatic Ruby Moon directed by STC co Artistic Director Andrew Upton for our Education program."
